How quiet the location was, the cleanliness and how well detailed and thought out the book for the guests was. Bed was very comfy and didnt struggle for sleep, and the space in the cabin was perfect.

Not having a blind/curtains on the door

The lodge was modernly decorated, the bed was uber comfy and the hot tub was a clean and a great size. We liked the smart tv options too! We had a lovely overnight stay.

When we first arrived the lodge was very cold, the electric fire in the living area quite quickly heated it up, however the floating shelf fitted directly above the electric fire heated up so we felt we couldn’t leave it on as was frighted it would catch fire. The tv quality was amazing however it would have been better on a swivel bracket as where it is situated and where the couch is positioned it makes it hard to see. Upon filling the fridge with our snacks and food we discovered the fridge door didn’t shut properly resulting in nothing really being kept cool. With there being no blind on the doors and it being next to other lodges we felt it was very open and not a lot of privacy. The kitchen utensils and the oven were really not clean. The knife to cut our pizza was covered in something sticky so this resulted in us having to clean everything before we used it. Where the toilet was situated there was a corner that had not been hoovered or mopped. There is a map to the layout of lodges at the carpark however we felt It would be handy to have a sign on the lodge to indicate which lodge you are staying at.
