The area was exceptional- surrounded by beautiful little steam- absolutely magical for the children

There was nothing we didn’t like, it was perfect

If you love the outdoors this is the best place to be didn't really get chance to do much as well had to leave after 1 day

Didn't like the weather as it poured down most of the night other than that was good

The bed was very comfortable, beautiful location and great scenery

Lack of lighting (although it can’t be helped as lights are solar powered due to being eco friendly)

Really relaxing space in nature. Peace and quiet and the two streams running past the stay was a treat for the ears…

Running water right to the stay.

Great remote location and situated in the middle of a private field surrounded by green. Nice and quiet and perfect for a romantic weekend retreat.

Facility is a bit primitive but has potential, no running water and or shower nearby, you can use the facilities of the nearby campsite but it's quite a walk when you need to freshen up. No electricity (battery powered lights) and wifi or phone reception, if you need to call you need to 'running up that hill'. So bring books or magazines or some company as you will be all by yourself, which can be nice.

My husband and I really enjoyed this place so much so we are looking to book with the dog. Took the grandchildren, they enjoyed it too although they are use to modern day living.

The privacy and the surroundings.

It was so rural and out of the way. It was peaceful and very dark at night. Just what we were after. The owner was very helpful and friendly and close by, so you know you are not totally isolated.

Take wellies! No matter the time of year, the paths around will always be muddy due to the streams and pond nearby. Remember food, there are no shops nearby and wood and kindling for a fire. You can buy wood from the owners but it is cheaper to buy beforehand.

Absolute gem of a find if you like being off grid and just be in a peaceful setting with nobody else around. The little gestures like a basket of outdoor toys under the bed were a bonus. Kids loved it.

No gas for the BBQ so hubby had to go and ask for another. They were great though and brought us a replacement within 10 min. Solar lights around the outside area were really weak. Luckily we brought a big industrial lamp with us.

Everything was provided making it a really easy enjoyable stay
