The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable. The location is also convenient with easy access to nearby places. Overall, the hospitality and peaceful environment made it a pleasant experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alia, Ahangama ,Pure Hospitality Alia is one of those rare properties where hospitality is genuinely felt, not just performed. Anu takes care of you like family ,you’re in the best hands from the moment you arrive. The rooms are stunning ,we’re talking ocean views while brushing your teeth. Enough said.

Only one thing to flag , being on the main road means some vehicle noise does seep in, so noise insulation could use a little work. Minor, but worth knowing for light sleepers.

Very helpful and friendly staff, clean and modern facilities, beautiful location by the beach, delicious breakfast.

Sound proofing in the rooms could be better, since the property is next to the main beach road.

Didn’t get to stay. Had the stay booked months in advance. Property knew it was for my honeymoon. They text me less then 24hrs before to cancel on me. Left with no where to stay and a very disappointed wife. Put a huge stain on our honeymoon. Hotel didn’t seem to care. Booking.com don’t to care much either. Poor. Avoid.

The location was good and the rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The bed and linen was really comfortable and the view from the room was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and staff was polite and nice

The hotel was beautiful and our room particularly aesthetic. We were upgraded to a junior suite and the staff were especially warm and accommodating given we were celebrating a birthday. The welcome drink was a very nice touch and the hotel breakfast was beautifully presented. I enjoyed watching the surfers at dawn and dusk.

The hotel was slightly on the edge of town. 20 mins walk to the local bars and restaurants but because the road isn’t pedestrianised, we would always tuk tuk. Unfortunately (presumably because it was end of season) there were a number of items on the menu which were unavailable like chai tea and some rosé.

Amazing location overlooking the sea and only a 3 minute tuk tuk from the main stretch or restaurants and cafes. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel appears nice visually.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but it let itself down by trying to be something it isn't. My honest feeling was that the prices are way too high for what you get. The vibe is more like a fancy hostel, than a boutique hotel. The building isn’t very well built, there is no ventilation to the bathroom, there are visible wires not connected to anything, the shower is nice but the temperature would change randomly. The rooms look nice visually, but the noise travels between rooms and the hallway extremely badly. We also had a guest on the balcony next to us playing loud music until 2am the night prior to our check out, it sounded as though they were in our room and we could hear every word of their conversations in between the music. The fridge in the room was rusty, it looked like it had a leak previously. Other than some water there were no other minifridge items. The hotel staff were pleasant, but felt like there was a lack of experience in hospitality, slow service etc there was also some work going on outside our balcony each day we were there, no one mentioned this to us but we would have to listen to banging and sawing of wood work when on the balcony or sun beds. They also did not have anywhere secure for storage of bags upon check out, they are just behind a desk and nobody checks who you are when taking them. The hotel is very rough around the edges and lacks the details or quality to warrant the price. I also would not trust the tuk tuk drivers outside, after taking us to Ahangama one told us he had no change at all and so would come and pick us up and gave us his number - he ignored our call and messages and was stood outside the hotel when we got back. Whilst the tuk tuk drivers are not employed by the hotel, there is a clear relationship as they have someone sitting in the hotel grounds who calls them over from across the street - be aware in Ahangama they deter Uber and Pickme drivers also.

.The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a very welcoming stay. The location is truly breathtaking, complemented by an excellent and diverse food menu. I also thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing spa treatments
