The apartment was sometimes too hot even with the blinds closed.

The location in Bergam - La Citta Alta - could not have been better! It is a few feet from the main piazza.

The apartment was quite dirty. When we arrived, there was garbage still in the apartment that I discovered. There were lots of dust webs throughout the apartment. Some of the common amenities, (such as a garbage bag in the garbage basket) did not exist. There were 52 difficult steps to climb to get to the apartment. I was fine with this, but it was difficult for one of my friends. I feel like it should be pointed out (before booking) that there are that many steps.

Beautiful city, amazing location. Laura was very helpful. The apartment is bright airy and modern, comfortable beds with everything needed for our trip.

Some minor issues regarding equipment of the apartment

Casa Matin Bergamo is perfectly located in Cita Alta, very close to main attractions must to visit. Breathtaking views of rooftops of Bergamo and city towers with Lombardy panoramic background. Parking arrangements despite extra cost.

Great views come with the price to go up two floors especially carrying the luggage. It may not be suitable for travelers with mobility issues. From my perspective there is some sort of misbalance between Bosch kitchen appliances and using the chair instead of bedstand in the bedroom. But there is always a way to improve. I also don’t like the separate extra cost for cleaning, it’s misleading of overall payment.

Spacious, views, location

Laura met us at the property and was very supportive. We loved her attitude and dedication. Make sure you book a car park in advance. There’s a small one in walking distance. The property itself is spacious and has nice views.

The dishwasher was not emptied and the respective smell disgusting. Dishwasher taps were missing. When arriving the flat was cold and it took a few hours to get it up to 21 degrees Celsius.
