The location was close to things?

My mum fractured her leg on the first night on the stairs as there was no light and the handrail doesn’t go fully up and the steps were quite narrow and you couldn’t put your whole foot on it when you were coming down - everything was falling apart and highly uncomfortable. The shower was broken, the sink was dirty, everything was so cheap. The television didn’t work downstairs and there was mould on the wall which was disgusting. Upstairs was like a furnace or a sauna and very uncomfortable, and the air conditioning barely worked. It doesn’t get properly dark at night as there is a window on the roof that has no curtain or blind and it lets all the light in.

The pictures on the website show good expectations, which is not the case in reality.

Ive put off writing this review as I really do not enjoy giving negative feedback, however, I would not want any other travellers to experience what I did. First a positive…Abu was my main contact when booking this property. His communication was great. That was until I arrived at the property. I was told to meet a lady at the restaurant next door to collect my keys. Thankfully my partner who is Portuguese was there too. As when we requested the keys I was greeted with an extremely hostile woman. They refused to speak in English and said there was no booking. If I had been on my own I do not know how I would of been able to communicate. My partner explained there was a booking and to make a call to Abu. The woman was incredibly angry. Not what you expect when booking via this site. We managed to gain entry to the property after some time. To find the place filthy and not ready for guests. My pictures will show later. At this point I was told to go away and come back later, when the property was cleaned. I arrived back at the property 2 hours later to find the accommodation in a passable state. The location is centrally located but in a very noisy area. Party goers very loud into the early hours. Each morning I would need to dodge broken glass and beer bottles. It is safe to say after many visits to Lisboa I would not make a return visit to this property.

The room upstairs is under the roof and is a oven (internal temperature of 44°C) ! Impossible sleep there!

The location was ideal and the kitchen had everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and the neighbours were quiet.

The shower should be upgraded. and there is a blockage which needs to be fixed.
