Daffon Guest House

The location was superb - just 15 minutes from the airport, towards Negombo. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. But what stood out for us the most were the hosts who were so kind, warm and hospitable! Rooms were clean but basic, so don’t expect luxury here.. but you will get a good place to sleep off after a long flight and they will treat you extremely well! I highly recommend this homestay when you are in the area!

This is my second stay, and it's the perfect location for pre- or post-flight use. Among places with good airport access, it offers the lowest rates, and I especially love that it has hot showers. The owner is very kind and makes every effort to accommodate requests. The delicious restaurant Sasha is also very close by, so you can enjoy great food after arriving in Sri Lanka.

The guest room is on the third floor of the building, requiring two flights of stairs, so carrying heavy luggage can be a bit of a challenge. However, the owner kindly helps carry luggage.

Beautiful place. The owner and the family are very friendly and helpful. Best place in Negombo where to stay. Very close to the airport. Super recommend!!!!

Una vez terminado nuestro viaje en Sri Lanka podemos afirmar que es la mejor familia con la que hemos topado (y eso que todo el mundo es muy atento). Estuvieron pendientes de nosotros nada más realizar la reserva, nos recogieron del aeropuerto por un precio asequible, nos consiguieron un tour por Negombo, nos ayudaron a encontrar una tarjeta SIM y nos acompañó al autobús hacia nuestro próximo destino. Estamos muy agradecidos

- Moldy bedsheets - Moldy walls - woooden door completely eaten by bugs or termites, that cannot be closed properly. - bathroom from the 60's, with loads of leaks - When I arrived I had to wait one hour, my room was not ready - waited 15 minutes before they opened me the door, they were not expecting me while I spoke to the lady by WhatsApp the day before. - usually Sri Lankan people are genuinely nice, those hosts are fake and twisted and they lie but don't recognise it, they lie and do as if nothing happened.
