Host Stay Coastal Townhouse

The house was very nice. Clean and spacious rooms, good facilities in the kitchen etc, nice location.

I wouldn't stay in a 'Host and Stay' property again. Was unimpressed with the communication, originally told we would get check in details 7 days before, chased them 4/5 days before to be told we'd get them the day before (unhelpful for a large property with different families joining as it delayed communication to the group. Also asked at this point about the number of keys we'd get and never got an answer. Come the day before check in what I actually recieved was a demand for more money for a security deposit which was unexpected and further delayed us getting any useful check in info and was an unexpected cost. Not happy! Finally all ready to go, gets to the property to find 2 damaged door handles. Responses were quick but not helpful and I suspect at least a few were AI generated. No attempt to make repairs actually happened during our stay.

Great location. Close to the town with a great view of the River Esk. Made even better by the bi-fold doors.

Beautiful views, amazing space, all mod cons, power showers and very comfortable beds

Floor could have done with a clean. But nothing that ruined out trip

Clean everything you need close to everything ....parking space which is a must tight squeeze but managed

Shower downstairs can not be regulated very hot water ....we just used upstairs facilities.

The location was perfect. The balcony and view was lovely to sit in a morning and eve (a little warm in the aft but we had amazing weather) Very spacious plenty of bathrooms for everyone.

The cleanliness although the bathrooms and bedding was clean it felt like it could do with more of a deep clean on skirting boards etc and stains on sofas also fresh paint on the scuffs would make alot of difference. The cons wouldn't put me off from booking again as like I said it felt generally clean and the location and balcony win it over for me.
