Excellent service friendly staff very clean and good food.

Good food and friendly staff. Our only slight grumble was the mattress in our room was rather tired!

There was a problem with a noisy kitchen fan being left on overnight which meant little sleep. However, the manager phoned the next day, apologised profusely and offered compensation. This was great customer service and very much appreciated.

Staff very friendly and helpful, comfortable room great breakfast and evening meal.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. But our stay was spoiled by the fact that the mattresses on the twin beds in Room 17 were most unforgiving - we woke up aching all over. Also, the hotel is on a very busy road with fast-moving traffic - and if you like a window open there is a lot of traffic noise.

A beautifully maintained coaching inn in a lovely part of the South Lakes, close to woodland walks. Impressed with the full gluten-free options on the menu. Our room had been tastefully refurbished & the en-suite bathroom was spacious.
