Rusland Pool Hotel

The staff could not have been better they were brilliant. We had a lovely patio with a bistro garden set the food was excellent they are the pros. BUT I think it's the first place we stayed that only had a shower not a great problem but it gets worse the upstairs floorboards creaked and queaked and for reasons unknown to us the occupants seem to spend hours thudding backwards and forwards across the room once in the middle of the night. The bus service from the hotel was an added attraction but found the road was as busy as a motorway and was told the bus did not always like to stop as it was hard for it to pull out again. The thought of crossing that road on a return journey was a complete no no. We keep the volume of the TV low to respect others residents but weather being hot and the door and window open the roar of the traffic drowned out the TV. Shame we went to the Lake District for some peace and quiet

I always like to stay at Rusland Pool Hotel when im in the area fir wirk. Fully recommended by me.

The blonde lady (that was going to IKEA) was fantastic,lovely and chatty and helpful. Great food compliments to the chef great home made lasagne,prices are a bit steep though.The room was nice but a very busy and noisy road outside. Handy location for Windermere,the Lakeside & Hatherwaite railway and the fantastic Lakeland motor museum.

We had a brilliant stay at the hotel. From the minute we arrived the service was brilliant. Although they were advertising for staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and comfortable.Including in the price of the stay was a full English breakfast, which was delicious. Every member of staff was helpful, and obliging. We had one hearty evening meal, fresh, hot and plentiful.

Room was big and clean just dated. Bathroom good size powerful shower! Room 19 is accessed at end of beer garden with patio area including table and chair. Could hear road noise and noise from rooms above. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Lots of parking.

Ive not stayed at the Rusland Pool Hotel since 5 months ago, but I was welcomed back as if I'd left last week... Always a great stay, chilled, relaxed, at the Rusland Pool. Special thanks to the Check in staff, sorry I've never caught your names. See you next week Mark

Nice country pub/hotel. Good service and nice bathroom.

All the staff were welcoming, friendly & efficient on prior phone calls, at check in & during our stay. Our room was fresh & clean as was all restaurant rooms & bar. The hotel is beside the road but with window closed we were not disturbed & had a good nights sleep. We were spoilt for choice from the extensive evening meal menu, we enjoyed our meals & cooked English breakfast the next morning. If visiting the south Lakes I would recommend this hotel.
