Great location, quiet neighbourhood, clean room.

1) Very difficult communication with property owner: she insisted on communicating solely through emails or whatsapp. To every question we had we got excessively long emails with copy/paste information, which was very confusing, especially while travelling and having to figure out things like getting the keys, accessibility to property etc. The tone of the emails was unprofessional and even condescending at times. Next time I will make sure to read how the host responds to complaints to see whether they are able to conduct themselves professionally or not. When we met the host she was polite and helpful, however, it is strongly recommended to inform booking.com immediately when an owner does not want to communicate via the platform and to keep copies of all emails/texts. This protects both the host and the guest if any problems should arise. 2) The host had posted false phone numbers on booking.com. We could not call the property because their phone number on booking.com was false... We received the correct phone number only after having booked the property because the host does not want to get phone calls from people who have not booked... Quote from host: "My mobile number is correct on all communications from when you book, but the one you have seen is not as it is open for use by everyone (even if not booked) which I had to change to avoid calls at all hours. Especially as it is an on line booking system." 3) For those who value good sleep: the walls were very thin and all conversations etc. from the downstairs flat could be heard very clearly i.e. it was very loud at times.

It was close to the harbour

Literally paid the extra money for a sea view, but the photos are from the harbour itself and not the room. Once you book it then informs you that you may not see the sea. I want my money back for this. Entire rip off
