"Delightful country location for a family with plenty of space"

Wonderful country location and close to main shopping area.Grandaughter loved all the animals . SO peaceful and private.Very spacious.

Didn't quite understand the access to the attic was by pull down stairs and while the venue was accessible for wheel chair there was no way anybody disabled could access the showers.Actually feel might need grab rails in the shower or by the toilet of anyone unsteady...or old :)

It was such a sweet cottage and a gorgeous situation

Three bedrooms were great, I just hadn’t read properly that the 4th bedroom was up the stairs which was a wee bit interesting.

"Beautiful place to stay nice an peaceful while still being close to town."

It was beautifully layed out and had wonderful flow inside and out. The children loved staying up in the loft and thought this was great! They also enjoyed going for a walk around and meeting the horses. We even managed to leave a pillow behind and had it easily arranged to be returned.

Loved the location out in the country, yet short drive to town. Nice layout of cottage. Everything was comfortable and easy to use. Hosts were lovely and helpful!

I would just suggest some coat hooks or something, maybe more closet hangers

"Ok stay in matakana"

The cottage is in a beautiful location with lots of animals in surrounding fields. Living space in the property is lovely.

The bed my husband and I slept in was so uncomfortable we stayed elsewhere on the second night of our stay in matakana. The rest of our family were ok so perhaps we were just unlucky with the bed we chose. The back room and rear bathroom smelled damp as did the baby travel cot. Lots of cobwebs in cupboards. Lots of random stuff stored all over the place. No microwave.

It was very well presented and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. Was cosy but still had enough room for the whole family.

"Was a great relaxing weekend. Felt away in the country but close enough to Matakana township for good food and coffees."

Plenty of space. Clean and well laid out with all modern conveniences. Hosts were very kind - dropping off coffee pods, and some good dry wood for the fire pit out in the garden.

I enjoyed everything about the property.
