"Ideal location and exceeded expectations"

The house was a lot bigger than I thought. 2 bathrooms was ideal as we had 5 people getting ready for a wedding. Outdoor area looked nice too, shame about the weather.

"Lovely peaceful spot to stay and lay back"

Not supplied Loved being harrased by the sheep dog that chases cars. Brought up on farms so fully understand farm dog peculiarities.

Drive way a bit ove grown. A bit of pruning back so branches don't scratch car paintwork . A bit more explicit signage. Thereare a lot of possible wrong turns. I guess the neighbors are used to stray people coming up their drive . The TV is somewhat difficult for seniors to get going. (We couldn't work it out.)

Absolutely stunning location - the kids loved exploring. We were in Matakana for a wedding and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. Having two full bathrooms was perfection!

The location is close to Matakana Village and is easy to find with great instructions on how to get there. It is lovely and private and has all the facilities you need, also very clean. It is very good value for money as it sleeps 9 people, but just be aware that the loft area as you will see in the photos has a very steep ladder - I would suggest that area be used for teenagers rather than young children or more mature adults.

A couple of my friends weren't comfortable with the climb to the loft, but this is no fault of the hosts as there is a picture of it.

Location was good - very close to village but private. 3 bedrooms was great as we (3 women) had a room each. 2 bathrooms great too. It had a very good kitchen with large fridge/freezer, modern appliances and nice crockery etc, living space was comfortable. Very private, farm setting, fire pit and BBQ. Quiet, lots of trees and greenery. Host was very responsive. Excellent facilities.

Only minor things eg for me the pillows did not work well. One of the showers didn't drain well. Gravel road, so the car needed to be cleaned but really these are minor compared with the excellent facilities and proximity to the village, galleries, Omaha beach et.
