Excellent price, brilliant position to the main high street and town facilities. Car parking sites are very close to the property. The room was good with a good shower and hot water and clean bedding.

The room we had was a little cramped for three 70 year old adults and the stairs to the first floor were a little challenging, but it is a very old period property so you have to expect these things.

The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. Good central location in Bridgnorth. The lady I phoned when we couldn't get in was friendly and helpful.

The shower was unusable as the water was scalding hot and couldn't be turned to cooler. Also the loo seat and towel ring were loose. Some more info on access would be useful, such as which of the many doors in the courtyard to use, and how to get wifi.

Very convenient for the town centre with short- and long-stay parking close by.

The bed was too short for me (I’m 6’2”) and rather narrow for two people. Facilities were quite cramped with access via a twisting set of stairs. Some late night noise from revellers in the street outside.

Arrived at the property went to the bathroom to find pubic hair all over the shower tray and a buildup of grime, as we arrived around 730 on the evening we were all ready to go out so that wasn’t such a problem. Even though it was still unacceptable. Upon further inspection the toilet hadn’t been cleaned very yellow and splashes of urine in the pan. I opened the pedal bin and it was full of sanitary products.. at this point we thought if they’ve missed this much has the bedding even been cleaned I rang the lady who I presume was in charge I asked for another room they didn’t have any which was fair enough. I told her we couldn’t stay due to the cleanliness of the bathroom. She said it was too late to send housekeeping. I asked for a refund she said it’s not her problem. It’s up to Booking.com. I continued to message her over the next couple of days about the refund. I only had one reply back saying she’s waiting to hear of Booking.com which was untrue because they told me she wouldn’t answer their email. After me complaining several times to Booking.com. I finally have my money back. I’d advise anybody not to stay here very bad customer services not even a sorry!!

The location was excellent and convenient for the town centre. The room was clean and adequate. It was not expensive to stay there and we were able to stay for just one night, whereas other hotels in the area could not offer this. The bed was comfortable, but stubbed my toe due to not realising that there was a leg in the middle on each side of the bed.

There was inadequate lighting in our room. We did not meet any member of staff during our stay. Entry to the hotel and the room was self-service using codes. I ended up having to write down the entry and exit instructions by hand. We had gone out for the evening. By the time we came home at 22.10, the main door was locked, so we needed to use the access code to gain entry. The only contact details we were given in an emergency is to phone the emergency services. No breakfast was on offer.

Ideal as was in the middle of where we needed to be. Lovely clean room friendly staff

How steep the stairs are was ideal for one night. Not very good for people with disability issues. Needs to be put on the website how the stairs are wouldn’t of booked. Would of struggled if there was an emergency .. and it was hard to get back into the hotel last night. First gate was hard to open.. husband had to get onto his hands and needs to try and un bolt the bottom. Single bed needs a new mattress. Also says £3 parking there isn’t parking with the hotel but parking near by. Also bathroom needs a good clean walls were black.

Lovely people, very welcoming. Easy self check in. Clean and tidy room.
