Hotel Seven Lights

Staff were lovely and very attentive. They were always ready to help.

No tissue in the room or the bathroom. Food lacked variety and we were not allowed to order from outside.

Room is clean and A/C was good. Breakfast slso good.room.Room is medium size and good for max 2.

A/C no control inside room. Driver stay is not provided .

The lady at the front desk was kind and polite and she served was well both while check in and out. The server from restaurant who served us also great kid too. That's all I can say.

1. There no AC controller in room and that the AC is controlled by Main reception which for me is very uncomfortable. 2. The basic toiletries were missing such as a handsoap, instead of 2 shampoo and 2 foam bath only 1 pair was given for 2 guest. Brush was given but with no paste. And to me this is a big sign of negligence or an act of cost cutting. 3. Regardless which kind of guest Is available at hotel, as a basic entertainment basic movie channels, kids channels in English, malayalam and hindi is a must. Our room only had news channels and few song channels. Which again is a sign of cost cutting. 4.The inhouse restaurant was very poor. Our first night we ordered one fried rice, dragon chicken and french fries by around 7 45 pm and the order arrived only by 915pm and their excuse was restaurant was busy which was really hard for me to believe as the following day we went for breakfast and we hardly saw 2 couple and we being the 3rd one. The restaurant was just another room with some chairs and tables and dint feel like a restaurant at all. The breakfast was set menu of continental breakfast ( omelette, toasted bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee, pineapple juice, watermelon cut fruits along with north or south Indian menu of your choice.) Can't complain about the omellete, toasted bread, jam, butter pineapple juice as they we just ok.. But the tea came in cold. We opted for south Indian menu which was masala dosa with chutney and sambar. You don't need to be a foodie to know that was not actual masala dosa, it was a just a normal dosa with some potata masala inside, no salt or spice and that to me was absolutely insulting being an Indian. The sambar was too salty. The restaurant and chef really needs to be worked upon.. For me this is not a 4 star hotel cause I have stayed in smaller hotel both 3 and 4 but gave absolutely mind boggling service. I just felt this like a hostel. This is me completely the owners and management negligence.

The staff was so friendly ,after checking out going to hospital realized that no admission so we checked in again to same hotel .surprising that the hotel up grade us to bigger room size .it really value of money
