Sirogane Free Harbour Hotel

Uitstekende locatie op wandelafstand van Sirogane waterval en Blue pond (iets verder). We gingen dagelijks naar de privé onsen in een apart gebouw, waar we met de wagen naartoe werden gebracht (<1min). Sympathieke gastheren die zich erg behulpzaam opstellen. Toen we bijvoorbeeld uitgeregend van een wandeling terugkwamen, werden we tegemoetgelopen met handdoeken en het aanbod om onze kleren te wassen. Het halfpension aanbod is erg goed (en veel), en er is ruimte om een voorkeur te uiten qua maaltijd. Tenslotte apprecieerden we de goedlachsheid en humor van de gastheren erg. We hebben ons erg welkom gevoeld.

The staff were amazing and so hospitable. The onsen was great too. Dinner was really good value!

The hospitality was exceptional and staff treated us like family. The lower level was a fine photo gallery and also filled with interesting antiques. We stayed three night and had breakfast and dinners included. The meals were excellent each night, the best we’ve had in Japan. Though the onsen was a 3 minute walk away, it had nice and very hot inside and outside hot pools. Also, the staff would drive you if you didn’t want to walk. I would definitely come again.

Once the owner heard its our honeymoon he got as a complementary champagne and 2 sets of beautiful chopsticks. The hospitality was incredible, felt like home a way from home. We needed a bear spray for our hiking, the owner went and bought us one for the day and would accept any renting payment although it is very expensive. Value for money was amazing and I cant recommend enough about this place! Also very reach and tasty breakfast was included in the price
