Simply beautiful, and superbly well maintained place. The location was perfect for uninterrupted views of sunsets and sunrise over sand dunes. The pictures do not do justice to how spacious and comfortable the rooms are. Having running hot water and electricity and wifi in the middle of the Sahara is incredible. The cheerful staff made us feel right at home, they were always there to help us. Couldn't have asked for more! Will definitely book this one when we come back to the Sahara.

"One time experience is enough, would not stay again."

Location is great among the Erg Chebbi dunes. Camel ride is about 1 hour but worth it to watch the sunset. Wish they had included the camel ride transfer price with the hotel booking like other camps but instead charged us 25Euro per person. Each tent has a covered porch which is great and different than other camps. Decoration is classy and the beds are very comfortable with nice thick blankets although there are sand all over the sheets under the blankets. The dinner was tasty but breakfast needs more options.

It was extremely cold in the room around 40 degrees F. There is no heater so we had to borrow a portable propane heater from the dining room. They told us we can use it but had to turn it off when we go to sleep. It didn't make sense because that was when we needed it most. Although there is a shower, there is no hot water so we could not shower after a long dirty day in the dessert.

Camel ride is beautiful. Location of camp is great. Dinner was excellent and rooms are beautiful.

It is very cold at night during the winter. Communication for meeting time could have been better, but this is the way in Morocco. The staff and guides were made up of 20 year old young men who were very nice but could use professional hospitality training for what the price point of this experience is. But maybe hard to find here in the Desert in North Africa.

-beautiful and luxurious equipment and decor -beautiful place next to the dunes

-if you have a tent close to the fireplace it is very noisy until late with drums and other music, even in a tent that is quite far away we had to sleep with earplugs.

"Nice, albeit hot, desert stay"

8.0

We had a nice stay at the camp. The location is good, in the dunes near a few other similar camps. The staff were nice and helpful in setting up activities for us. Please note that you must pay in cash and since the camp is in the middle of the dunes that means you need to go to an atm before arriving.

Nothing related to the property but the heat of the desert without air conditioning made it very tough to sleep. The wind was very loud with windows open and didn’t really cool the tent down.

""10/10 not 9/10, not 8/10. 10/10!""

before my stay i looked for hours for the perfect camp and didn´t find any big differences from cheaper camps and expensive ones. so i just chose this one, because it had many positive reviews. i didn´t get disappointed. everyhting was perfect. we stayed for 2 nights, which seems to me uncommon but on the second day, sayid brought us to a nearby hotel with pool, where we could relax for the day, because at the camp it was almost 50 degrees. the difference between the "cheaper" camps and the "expensive" ones are, that on the expensive ones, everyhting is included, like the transport to the camp with camels. on the cheap ones, you have to pay for everyhting extra. so at the end, the price for the cheap one and the expensive one ist almost the same. we did the camel ride to the camp, which was an experience, on the second day in the evening, we did the atv ride, which was also very nice. the staff at the camp is very friendly and its no problem to talk with them in english. the location of the camp is also nice, not so touristy like the other ones, near merzouga. the tends are like on the pictures, everyhting big and clean. feels like a hotel room. i would recommend the camp, if you have time, stay for 2 nights (on the second day, we even get a different evening meal, then the other guest, because we stayed for 2 nights, which i didnt expect) and relax one day at the nearby hotel at the pool in the daytime for just 5€ per person.

there was no communication on booking.com with sayid, i had to contact him with whatsapp, to get informations. he should send a message to all people that book a stay at his camp, which options the people have, like go with the camel to the camp or with the 4x4 and the prices for each activitiy.
