Liked the people, both manager and staff. They were great - both Rajasthanis and Nepalese. They were super friendly and helpful. Vicky was a great help. He organised my excellent desert safari and gave many useful tips to explore Jaisalmer. His elder brother received me with great enthusiasm in another Killa Bhawan Lodge inside the fort. There also the Nepalese staff were great. The room was super cosy and nicely decorated with Rajasthani arts and antiques. The AC functioned well, which is super important during the hot season.

We really enjoyed our time at Killa Bhawan Lodge. Vicky was so nice and really went out of his way to help us get around Jaisalmer, find the right places to eat, visit and shop and made us feel at home at once. Thanks so much!!

The view from the rooftop is spectacular. The staff there,specially Vicky,the Manager was very helpful and nice.

Very friendly welcoming staff, allowed early check in, always on hand to assist without being pushy. Lovely rooftop restaurant, great views and location, easily the best place I’ve stayed in India.

Perfect location, adjacent to Patwon Ki Haveli and opposites the Fort. Vicky, the manager is extremely helpful and attentive. Room furnitures and finishes with large bathroom, all are above my expectation

After 6 weeks of traveling across all of India this was the best guest house we stayed in, hands down. The hotel and rooms are wonderfully decorated, the hotel roof top cafe has a fantastic view of fort that can’t be beaten, the food was delicious (get the thali special and upgrade the lassi), but without a doubt it was Vicky the owner who made this place special, what a lovely and kind host! We only stayed here one night but not only did he offer to hold our bags for us, he sat down and planned our itinerary with us, gave sensible recommendations of things to do, how to get there, and local tips on where to shop and how much to bargain. Not only did he offer us the best chai in town multiple times during our stay (as well as many several bottles of cold water) he even took us into the kitchen to show us how to cook it, and also sent us to his brothers’ hotel inside the fort for free chai with a wonderful view looking out over the city. Vicky made us feel like we had an old friend in this city, and that’s something money can’t buy. Thank you Vicky for being a wonderful host

Mr Vicky is a wonderful host. He was welcoming, friendly, always with a smile on his face. He took time out of his busy schedule to sit and chat with us and help us in every way possible.... Overall, I can easily say that it was the best place I had stayed ever. Period.

This is a total gem. Not only is it in the best location of town, with an amazing roof terrace for you to sit back enjoy the sights and sounds of the streets below with some chai, our room was most comfortable and tastefully decorated. Vicky the owner, was incredibly helpful and forthcoming with information of the best things to do in town and the best way how to experience everything with helpful tips of things to do (or not to do!). The thali at their restaurant is also fantastic.
