Everything was amazing!

One of our favourite stays in over 18 countries! The staff here (especially Fatma Nur - I’m sure she’s an actual angel) went above and beyond daily to ensure we had the best time. From assisting with booking tours, hot air balloon rides, taxis to surprising us with daily fruit platters and Turkish coffee when we were just sitting in their lounge. I cannot recommend them highly enough! The location is a quick walk into the centre of Goreme and the views from their balcony over the city are just divine. Absolutely book here - you won’t regret it!

Our bathroom had a broken tap and shower head that didn’t like to stay upright. Everything still functional but a small detail that could hav me been improved.

breakfast could have had more variety. majority is cheese. needs better breakfast to make it the spot

- staffs hardly speaks in english. At the reception they didnt even turn on the lights and staffs there were sleeping upon my entry. - the staffs were unclear and deceiving. when asking for an airport transfer (to arrive at the airport at 9:30) they said “okay” initially. After payment of 20 euros via credit card they then got back to me and asked if departure from hotel at 10am was ok. I was shocked as i thought they were already aware of my schedule. When asking for a refund they couldn’t get the credit card machine working, and did not have Euros in cash to pay me back. at last i settled with getting Lira back as I have already been stuck with this issue - when entering the room the toilet is filled with patches of water, while asking the staff to clean for us he simply told us “no water”. - the bathroom has a jacuzzi but it didnt work. Moreover, there was a smelly scent and cigarette smell during night time.

Very nice room with great terrace. Didn’t really want to leave the hotel

- Location, big terrace, you could park the car in front of the hotel for free, big room - you could see the balloons from the terrace

- Avoid the minibar, no prices, for one can of cola they ask ~5Eur and you find out only at check-out, price is in Eur not TL as would be normal, and they are converting Eur>TL at a higher rate. - Minibar was not separately connected to electricity and when you were leaving the room, it shut down and the beverages were not cooling. - They have a lot of old food, fruits - some of them rotten for breakfast - a lot of dust, not much cleaning was done - cigar smell was coming through the bathroom vent, like there was someone smoking in your room.

The worst treatment I have ever received from a hotel manager (person responsible for the bookings). I booked the hotel because the price was lower than others (otherwise I had many better options to book specially with a better location). After booking the hotel room he reached out and informed me that I would have to pay an extra fee for the second person on the double room (which wasn’t detailed anywhere on my booking). The room wasn’t cancellable so I ended up having to pay which ended up being more expansive than better hotels. He was extremely rude and I do not recommend this hotel for this particular reason.

This hotel is really beautiful and my room was amazing! Such a luxury! I had the jacuzzi, the shower and the hammam area in an enormous bathroom. The jacuzzi every night was such a treat and the bed is the best I ever slept on! This hotel is not a cave and doesn't pretend to be: many hotels say 'cave' but they only have a few cave rooms and they're very expensive. Moreover, cave hotels are on the hilly part of Göreme and taxi may not be able to drop you off there so you'd have to carry any suitcase up the hill. The CakIltasI is not on the hilly side, so it's easy accessible to everyone. I also had breakfast one day and it was delicious, I loved the family feel of the hotel, it made my stay feel like I was at home. You'll also love the dogs there!
