The Pheasant Hotel

The breakfast was delicious and just the right quantity. The bed was fab and I slept really well thank you. The outlook from my room over the pond was lovely - peaceful and very pretty. The gentleman who greeted me was helpful and kind. The fridge was very useful.

A place of luxury with a very rural aspect. Great, comfortable room with an excellent shower.

Stunning location and accommodation

Food was average

Food quality and presentation. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Poor communication in the dining area. Not the hotels fault but a noisy child in the room next to ours woke us early in the morning.

Breakfast v. Good. Dinner poor. Not well presented, a bit pretentious, Vastly overpriced as was the room. We went on to sto at The Durham Ox ,far superior, less than half the price. Not recommended.

Dinner, cost . Room and ensuite not good enough at this price point.

A gorgeous get away, with lots of lovely touches. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean. Breakfast was a real treat. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The large room was comfortable with a very pleasant outlook over the lake. The food and service were both excellent.

Avoid having a table near the busy and noisy kitchen door. We were fortunately able to move away from it at breakfast.
