Misty Mount Resort

Family was so kind and helpful. Our one night stay included a lot of rain so we basically just stayed in the room. Small room, with big bathroom. The outdoor chilling area could be more updated but little things ☺️ and personally I prefer real planket or duvet, than fleece planket. Makes the stay even more pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host family were very kind. The breakfast each morning was lovely.

The room is basic but bed is very comfortable.

The hosts were absolutely amazing. Whenever we were there, they brought us food or drinks and were really looking after us. It is definitely a homestay, not a resort. It's only this one room, so we had the terrace to ourselves. It was nicely decorated and I especially liked the "viewpoint" with the two very comfortable chairs. The breakfast was huge and delicous. I explained to them I couldn't eat gluten and they made helepa for me, which tastes like poppy seed cake. I loved it. Also the most comfortable bed we've had. We also had an accident and they were super helpful. Great value for money.

We felt a bit isolated because the hosts could barely speak English and we were the only guests. If one is seeking solitude, this is the right place. But we would have wanted more contact with either the hosts or some other guests. Also the room had a mouldy smell, so we lighted some inscence sticks.

The sweetest family I have met in my travels! The breakfast was unreal with so many different options (local food, eggs, fruits, tea, etc) They even prepared a bag with the leftovers and we had it in the train to Kandy 🤍 If you want to be in a peaceful place with jungle views and close to town (15 min walking) that’s your place. Thanks for everything 🙏🏼

Cute place, in the middle of the green, but still close to the train station and the main city! Very friendly stuff and a rich, yummy breakfast!
