We had a look at a few hotels in the town and this was by far the best for the price. It was clean and well maintained.

It didn't have any rooms that accommodate bigger family groups

It's not great, but it's better than alternatives. The room was basic, clean, and sufficient for recovery from the Gibbons Experience. It's close to the office so you don't have far to go when you are tired & dirty and just want to settle in for the night. There's a nice patio/outdoor seating area facing the river to enjoy. Of note, we did not stay here on the way into town because I had read reviews about bedbugs. A couple on our trip stayed there and said they saw none. So we took a chance on the way back, and I am glad we did. It was much better than our first night in town.

It's fine for a night, but I wouldn't want to stay there long. Weird stairs that are a little too tall.

Perfect location. Cheap. Friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed twice; the first stay was great.

Second stay, we were put into a different room which had bed bugs. We saw these while the lights were on in the room during the evening. I found at least six. We were moved instantly to another room, which appeared better. However, I was bitten during the night, and am now permanently scarred from the bedbug bites.
