Gaia Soul

Gaia Soul is a 5 star place to relax and unwind. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the whole place is super clean, stylish and beautiful. The beach nearby is amazing and not crowded. Although Gaia Soul is a bit further from Hiriketiya, you can rent a scooter and move around easily.

Sanduni and her family were the kindest people we have ever met. They really raised the bar for good service and went beyond expectations in every way. The place itself is very nice and private. We spend Christmas here and had the time of our lives. The place we would rate a solid 10. Sanduni raised it to 11. Thank you so much for being as you are.

We had a lovely time at Gaia Soul. We sadly booked it only for 1 night and regretted not staying longer. It was super cozy and we happened to book on a day we were the only guests, so it was like home away from home. Gaia soul is kid friendly! Sanduni the care taker and her family were super obliging, very kind and helpful. If you want any food, they can prepare whatever you pick from the menu. The hotel is spotlessly clean, quiet with an absolutely stunning beach just a couple of feet away. Gaia Soul also has a pool that is great for a dip and relaxation. The kitchenette is available for self catering if you wish. Overall, we had a memorable stay and look forward to returning soon.

Theres limited parking. The road leading to the property was a bit washed out with the rain so smaller vehicles might find it hard to reach the property. We got a single mattress for our toddler to sleep on the floor when requested for a cot. It worked fine for us. But it wasnt exactly a cot. The food could be considered a little pricey when comparing the quantity and you need to add service charge to rates mentioned in the menu.

We booked for 1 night and we ended by staying two. This is a quiet place in a peaceful and jungle environment located 10 minutes ride to Hiriketiya. We particularly appreciate the chilling atmosphere, cleanliness and courtesy of the staff and above all sleeping and waking uo with the sounds of the waves and the nature

- Loved the breakfast and dinner that was cooked by the neighbor - Sanduni is a lovely host! And also her family is suuuper friendly and always eager to help - Location is super nice next to the beach and you can easily take the bus to other places - Super clean place - You can use the kitchen to cook or make yourself coffee

- If you walk to the property, be aware that there are street dogs that are quite aggressive. You should carry a wooden stick to throw if it gets too bad. Otherwise you could take a tuk tuk.

I travel to Dikwella for work. Gaia Soul is the perfect location; no noise, tranquil location, breakfast and dinner on demand. The staff is invisible but always there; Sanduni, the young lady who manages the property, is exceptional. Gaia Soul is perfect for long stays; it's home away from home.

Perhaps a greater menu variety for guests who spend several days at the house but this is a small issue compared with the tranquillity Gaia Soul offers (as the name says well). I am sure that Sanduni's Mother, who cooks each dinner, would do that if asked; I will try next time!
