Ayonthoo!

De heerlijke slaapkamer , fantastisch mooie tuin, rustige ligging . Warm welkom. Stoomcabine . Goede prijs .

Geen kan koffie bij het ontbijt of oploskoffie . Gelukkig hadden we zelf nog wat zakjes . Ontbijt was eenzijdig en vet. Geen toaster om het witte brood te roosteren. Geen variatie en geen keuze. Wat verder weg van restaurants en centrum. Was de woonkamer nu wel of niet voor de gasten ? De medewerkers lagen daar op de bank ‘s avonds en dat werd voor mij dus een nee. De eigenaar was er niet.

Todo inmejorable. La casa es espectacular y el staff no podría ser más encantador. Las habitaciones increíbles y los desayunos buenísimos. De los mejores sitios en los que hemos estado, y hemos viajado muchísimo por todo el mundo.

Nada, fue todo perfecto, no se podía pedir más.

I only booked this place as a stop off between my flight and moving onwards. It was just what I needed. Really friendly staff. I'v forgotten their names, but I think they were the nieces of the owner. So helpful and welcoming. One was the shuttle driver. Id recommend using their shuttle service. So easy and no hassle. And you can learn so much about Malawi and Lilongwe from her before you arrive at Ayonthoo. Really clean and tidy place. Tasty, basic breakfast. I'm staying there again, the night before I fly out of Malawi.

You'd need a car if you're staying there for a long time. It's a bit of a walk to get to restaurants, etc

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Ayonthoo! in the quiet outskirts of Area 43. Even without a vehicle, Ayonthoo! is an easy distance from places of interest in Lilongwe whether by taxi, motorbike taxi or public transport. Karen, the owner's niece, and her staff were warm, helpful and hospitable. Our en-suite room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Drinking water is on tap. Having our laundry done gratis was a pleasant surprise. The Google Map address is accurate. Highly recommended.
