Horse Market Cottage Kirkby Lonsdale

The location was very central. The house was very cosy, with everything in the house top quality. The welcome pack for my dogs was also a lovely touch.

I would have preferred to park my car closer but the free permit was excellent.

Perfect location everything within walking distance. A real home from home with some delightful touches from the host. Highly recommend

The location was excellent.

The parking is tricky in Kirby Lonsdale and access to the property is confusing, especially when using a sat nav.

Absolutely everything, cannot pick out a single thing, all very much equal - truly fantastic

There was nothing we didn't like

Cottage was beautiful. Very spacious and well provided for. Location was good, close to the town centre but was very quiet on an evening. Was good to have an outdoor space and this catches the sun late afternoon/ early evening. Cooking facilities were good and appliances easy to use. Comfortable beds and pillows. Little touches such as wine and dog treats were lovely. The local area is beautiful, one of our favourite places to go.

Nothing I didn't like but just to make people aware that parking is about a 5 minute walk away. This wasn't a problem for us though and the parking pass provided covers multiple car parks in the local area which is great. The outside space would maybe have benefitted from a little spruce up and maybe some fairy lights to make it feel even cosier but was lovely all the same and neighbours were very friendly to talk to when sat out.

Beautiful cottage finished to a high standard. Location great and having parking permit was a extra bonus. Loved the little extra touches left by the owner for us and the dogs.

Dogs not allowed upstairs - maybe a stair gate would have been helpful as it was difficult to control
