"Great budget stay in Udawalawe!"

The room was HUGE, as was the bathroom. We had so much space, and a great view. A juice was provided on arrival which was a nice touch as well. The host was super helpful in organising a tuk tuk for us when we wanted to go visit our friends down the road. The location is only about a 5-10 minute drive from the park entrance, which is super convenient as well.

Only downside was that the wifi didn't work very well, but as we only stayed for one night this wasn't too much of an issue for us!

Room was outstanding- beautiful view, really large with an amazing bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging our safari and showing us where to get dinner and providing us with drinks to enjoy on our balcony! Really close to the entrance to the national park, we saw lots of elephants around the perimeter of the park even before we did our safari which was wonderful.

Don't get too excited about the pool... it was quite basic. Balcony in the room more than makes up for it.
