The location is excellent—just a short distance from the train station and the ancient town, and conveniently situated at a fair distance from other key attractions like Tam Coc, Trang An, and Bai Dinh. The house itself is incredibly charming, filled with lush greenery and blooming flowers. It felt nothing like being in a city—more like a peaceful garden retreat. Despite being close to the center, it’s tucked away in a quiet alley, so you can really relax. Most importantly, the hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Their warmth and flexibility were a true highlight of our stay.

The property is beautiful, I stayed in the private bungalow rooms. The room itself is amazing but the bathroom is what it truly spectacular. The stay is located on a 25min walk from the center of ninh binh (old town) and a comfortable 15min ride from Tam Coc, they have both bikes and scooters available for rent for very cheap. What is truly amazing about this place is the owners, they are extremely nice and available and helped me book everything i needed plus gave me recommendations for what to see and what is the best time to do so. Cherry on top, i had left my earbuds somewhere on property and Sunny, one of the owners, looked for it and found away to get it to me in Hoi An. I cannot recommend this place more.

A Little Paradise in Ninh Binh Amy’s Homestay is the most beautiful accommodation we had the pleasure of staying at during our time in Vietnam! It is run by an incredibly warm-hearted family who go out of their way to make you feel at home. We stayed in one of the garden houses – it was spotlessly clean and the garden had a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. They serve a great breakfast and delicious coffee! This place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, while still being conveniently close to it. Bicycles are available free of charge, and motorbikes can be rented at a very reasonable price. They even helped us organize our onward journey, with transport available to various destinations. We wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone planning a stay in Ninh Binh. You don’t meet amazing people like Sunny and her family every day. We would come back in a heartbeat – thank you!

I spend a total of three nights. I felt good at Amy's house. There is a garden, and the family is very welcoming. The neighborhood is very quiet and only 10 min away by bicycle from the center. They are renting bikes and scooters for the day and eager to give you recommendations. The house is also holding English courses for the local children, which is a good opportunity to get closer to the reality of Ninh Bihn.

The information can be a bit misleading. I thought I was renting a cabin/cottage but finally I had a private room with shared bathroom. If you have a light sleep, there are some rooster in the neighborhood that might wake you up early in the morning, but it is part of the charm of the quarter where the hostel is located.

Clean, the property was incredibly clean & organised. Fresh towels always available in the bathroom.

Nice and clean well kept dorms! Would recommend if you want to take a break. They have an English class in the evening as well for little kids.

Nothing about the property. I’d suggest to find a dorm in Tam Coc, it’s closer to the main sights!
