Fabulous location, hosts were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation and facilities were excellent

Location was fine for us as reasonable access for the hills we were walking. Narrow mountain roads not a problem as they were quiet and not daunting for someone used to driving them.

Could have been warned about likelihood of mice, but unfortunate episode with mouse damage to suitcase resolved amicably and to our satisfaction.

There is nothing not to like about this accommodation. Entry to the grounds of the property was by ringing a number for the electronic gate, once Louise had entered your mobile number in the system for the gate to accept your number, making the properties really secure and safe. On arrival, Louise the owner came out to greet us and show us the cottage we were staying in. The cottage itself exceeded all of our expectations, and was equipped with everything you would need, including phone chargers in the bedrooms where you just laid your phone on the top for it to charge. There was even a selection of coffee tea etc for a brew on arrival. Everything had been thought about for a perfect stay. On top of this it was spotlessly clean. We had travelled for the Bruce Springsteen concert in Cardiff, (which was just 30 mins drive from Upper Grippath Farm Cottages), and with its location up a long narrow country road with very little at the end of it meant you were not disturbed by passing traffic if a lie in was required. The only noise was from the bleating of the sheep to their lambs in the fields near by, but couldn't be heard inside the property, we loved hearing them when sat outside in the sun enjoying the magnificent countryside along with the seven bridge in distance. The beds were extremely comfy giving us both a good nights sleep. It's location to the M4 was just 5 minutes drive away, making it easy to visit (in our case) Cardiff (30 mins drive), The Gower Peninsula Roughly (1hr 30 mins), Newport was just 15 minutes away and had every shop and eatery you could possibly need. We also visited relatives in Hereford which was only 45 minutes drive away. There really are no negatives for this accommodation and should the need arrive to visit South Wales again in the future, this is one accommodation I will be looking out for to book again.

A very narrow lane leading to it, but it was worth it when we got to the top.

The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable, is in a beautiful location and has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break. Although situated down a lane, it is not far from the M4 so has good access to visitor attractions and has several major supermarkets only a couple of miles away.

We were happy with everything. Although people had mentioned the lane up to the cottage as being an issue, we didn't find it a problem.
