The Lodge was lovely and quiet, and very private. The host introduced himself when he handed us the keys, and let us know that he was available at any time, and then left us alone, which was very nice if you like your privacy. The Lodge was very clean and well set out. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the utensils and appliances you need. The shower was instantly hot and with good pressure. Would definitely book again if staying in the area.

As we were attending a 2-day wedding, we primarily just needed a place to sleep and get changed. Unfortunately there were no hooks to hang our clothes and suit storage bags. The nearest ones were at the bottom of the stairs. A minor moan was there was no lighting by the entrance to the flat, when returning at night. There are lights there, but they were not working.

Lovely clean self contained studio flat. On site parking. Comfy sofas. Smart TV. Vet friendly welcome from the owner

Bed is a double. A king would have been the icing on the cake!

It felt like home, we stayed for 3 weekends in a row as a perfect get away. Will definitely go back. Host couldn't do enough for us.

Tea, coffee, milk etc provided. Quiet location with off road parking and within walking distance of village pub with good food and real ales. The accommodation is very well equipped to a high standard. Simon (host) messaged us on our first morning to check we had everything we needed. He gave us advice about pubs, shops and restaurants.

A free standing clothes hanging rail is provided but no coat hangers. Luckily we had our own. A bigger draining board with the sink would be better.
