Sachinoyu Hotel Shiga Kogen

Excellent traditional and western food. Very well-presented breakfast and dinner. Service was excellent and staff went out of their way. Westen beds were very good, not too hard.

No shower or toilet in the room, only a hand basin.

食事→夕食がとにかくおいしかった。野菜も肉も魚も志賀高原ビールも長野の日本酒もどれも美味。 　　　日によって長野の郷土料理も楽しめます。朝食もバイキングでおなかいっぱい。 スタッフ→みなさんとても愛想良くしてくれて、心温まる接客でした。 施設→ロビーの雰囲気がいい。ゆっくりくつろげる。夕方限定で淹れたてのコーヒー飲めます。 温泉→心身ともに温まりました。風呂上がりに志賀高原の冷水飲めるのも良かった。

強いて言うなら、WiFiが少し弱めだったことでしょうか。部屋にもよりますが。 それでもネットは十分使えます。

I had a great stay at Shiga Kogen Hotel Shiga Sunvalley. The beds were really comfortable, the onsen was amazing, the bathroom was huge, and the views were beautiful. Having breakfast and dinner included was convenient, and it’s helpful to know that you need to book a dinner time each night as the kitchen organises itself around set seatings, which actually keeps everything running smoothly. The location right in front of the lift was perfect for us, and the luggage transfer from our previous hotel in Ichinose made it easy to ski our way to Sunvalley at the end of the day — such a fun experience. There wasn’t anything bad to say about the stay itself, but it’s worth noting that the ski area isn’t ideal for beginners, and while some staff in Ichinose spoke English, it was a bit harder in Sunvalley, so it’s best not to expect English everywhere. Overall, a wonderful stay with great comfort, great facilities, and an unbeatable location for intermediate and advanced skiers.

Location was great, right in the middle of the different resorts. We did have a car which made Shiga very easy to navigate. Our room was beautiful and clean with tatami mats and futons. Plenty of space for our luggage and hanging clothes. The staff were a highlight, very kind and welcoming. It is a small family run business and they make you feel at home. I am allergic to fish and seafood so don’t normally eat set menus but the staff were so thorough and understanding of my allergy so I gave it a go and the food was great and safe! The other members of my group also loved their meals. So much food! They also have an onsen with natural hot springs close by. Overall, very happy with this stay and we are lucky to have stumbled across it. We will be coming back!

夜、足元灯だけでは暗かったので洗面台の電気をつけて寝ました。 間接灯があればいいなとおもいました 食事の際の飲み物にできればグラスワインもおいていただけるとうれしいです

Toller Service und super liebe Leute, die uns mit allem fantastisch geholfen haben. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren sehr gut. Dazu gibt es noch tolle Craftbiere. Das Hotel hat einen älteren Stihl, wo man sich drauf einlassen soll.

Das Winterwetter war sehr wechselhaft, da muss man sich beim Skifahren drauf einstellen.
