Homewood Suites By Hilton HOU Intercontinental Airport

Location is great for airport travelers, being about 10 minutes from IAH Houston International. Neighborhood isn’t great, but isn’t the worst, still I would not recommend walking around. Take rideshare or drive if you need to go anywhere.

I specifically reserved this for the advertised free airport shuttle. When I asked a question via Booking portal, it was never answered relating to airport shuttle. Then when I arrived at airport, I called hotel several times. The call was never answered, so I could not even request the shuttle. I had to take rideshare. I confirmed the phone number I called was correct, as I dialed it at check-in desk & could hear the hotel phone ring. Front desk scheduled airport shuttle in the morning, shuttle never showed up. I ended up taking a rideshare 45 minutes after the shuttle was supposed to pick me up. DO NOT stay here if you are depending on the airport shuttle. This was so unacceptable for a Hilton branded property. Decor of the room is brown & dingy. Not much of necessary utensils in kitchen.

The breakfast was great. some of the dishes were a bit too salty tho. However there was some variety proposed.

Delicious breakfasts. The cook was very friendly and professional. Eating area always clean. Staff very helpful with recommendations for area restaurants.

Horrible experience with this hotel

The first room we got was not supplied well with kitchen utensils. The television did not work. It was cold. So they changed us to a second room and there was someone in the room. The third room was better but the kitchen was not well supplied. If you were having a kitchen, why not make it usable! The front desk person was very helpful and pleasant. He was not to blame for any of this. Also, the location was terrible. I should have looked beforehand and seen that there was no place really to go and have dinner so we just stayed in and ate cheese and crackers, with no sharp knife to cut it.
