Nicely set out, modern and stylish. A good location for central Cambridge. Lovely welcome gift upon arrival which was a nice touch, and host was happy to agree to an early check in.

Could have been slightly cleaner, in certain areas.

Outstanding location about halfway between the rail station and the center of town. Beautiful property, very nicely appointed.

The location was excellent for walking around Cambridge with plenty of great restaurant options nearby. The apartment was also nicely designed and had an excellent, spacious shower with good water pressure, large kitchen and dining area, and large bedroom with plenty of storage. Overall the apartment felt very spacious and was done to a high standard. I would not recommend this apartment for those with a mobility impairment or young children, however, due to the stairs.

The neighborhood was a bit noisy which was hard to minimize because we had to keep the skylights open at night due to the heat. The upper bedroom got quite hot during the day and it was challenging to keep it cool, although two good quality fans were provided that helped a lot. Window coverings in the bedroom let in a lot of light, too, which is tough when it gets light at 4AM. As others have noted, more care could have been given to cleaning, especially the floors and dusting overall. More hooks for towels and clothing would be greatly appreciated. Overall, though, it was a great stay and I would recommend if you have a sleeping mask and earplugs.

in hot summer days the bedroom which is a eooftop room gets extremely hot amd very noisy at night, it is very jard to sleep there. We recommemd imstalling am aircon.

We loved the location it felt like a friendly diverse community. Mill Rd abounding with interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and food shops. We loved the lodge it was perfect for spending four days. The kitchen was super as were the essential items such as oil, condiments, spices and basics of coffee and tea. The bed was very comfortable. The place was bright and airy upstairs but lights needed on the kitchen level . The tv was a bonus as we watched a lot of Roland Garros and it had great definition.

Just a few things that would benefit the visitor. We loved the lodge so these are not negative comments. There were no hooks in the bathroom for towels. We wondered why the toilet and shaving mirror were so low it was a bit tricky for people over 6 foot! The design was fabulous but all surfaces were hard and care had to be taken walking down the stairs also the handrail made of metal had corners which could cause harm. We couldn’t find any instructions as to how to dispose of our rubbish and recycling. A first aid kit would be useful.

I absolutely love every detail of this place 😊 I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here already! I’ll always book it whenever it’s available and I need a place — it just feels like home.🙋🏻‍♀️
