Architect Mews Cottage, near Mill Road Cambridge

The property was done to a high standard. Bed was really comfortable. Location was perfect for walking into city centre. Plenty shops and restaurants close by.

Nothing about the property. The only minor thing I felt could be improved is providing tea and coffee and more toilet rolls. Also instructions where the switch is for window blinds.

Great location, quiet and close to town

The ceiling leaked into the kitchen. The host said this was normal but it soaked the kitchen island and we had to put a saucepan to catch the water. Not great.

Parking a little bit of an issue but it is wherever you chose to stay in the center- we parked on the station car park which is a 10 min walk but could park on the street on a Sunday

I've been ten times in Cambridge in the last three years. This was the best property I rented. Worth every pound.

Loved the design layout of the property with high end appliances. I especially liked having the little space private outside space to enjoy breakfast

The property is a little out of the town centre, but we knew that on booking and don't mind a walk as well as it being a bit quieter being out of town. There are lots of interesting restaurants nearby, we ate at Bedouine just a 2 min walk away and it was excellent. Can I suggest adding Queen Anne Terrace car park to your list of suggested car parks, it's half way between the apartment and the town centre, so was ideal for us arriving early to walk into the town, then walk back past it to get our luggage when returning to check in. The following day we were walking past it again to drop our bags on our way back into town. Price wise it's quite reasonable compared to the multi storey in the town centre and better located IMHO.

Can I suggest the lockbox for the keys is raised higher, it's tricky to get to in the low position, I would expect someone less able would struggle to get down to it. Can I also suggest a mirror at head height in the bedroom, or even a full length mirror adjacent to the wardrobe, my wife had to sit on the floor to do her make up and dry her hair as the sloping ceiling in the bedroom means the current mirror is too low even when sitting on the bed. Please don't take these as criticisms as the apartment is lovely and very well put together, just small tweaks to make it even better than it already is.
