GBthe location was perfect. Sitting with a wonderful sea view was wonderful and Raz the owner has built a kitchen with water, cooker and a phone charger in the drawer, a great bonus. The campsite has a coffee shack great for the mornings and a Pizza shack, the Bigbury Pizza Co was lovely in the evening sitting eating with the sun setting to our right. Rustic and adequate for a good weekend. The communal block with showers and toilets were adequate with hot water everytime. The walk down to the village is very do-able. The tractor boat over to Burgh island was a treat, the whole point of the trip to go in the hotel was thwarted by the new owners. The island is a pleasant walk and the Pilchard Inn a definite for a drink & more. Well worth the visit.
The wind was a problem which made the tent walls ripple and make a variety of noises. But you cant control nature.

NLThe view was beautiful.
The tent was moist on the inside and there was a lot of wind which meant that we heard a high pitched noise of the tent rubbing against the bed the entire night and had a rough night. The facilities are old and dirty and far away from the tents. It took around 20 minutes to boil water on the stove and the USB chargers (sun powered) did not work during our stay.
GBI loved the location, it had great walking routes straight out of the campsite. You could see the sea from the tent, and it was an amazing view to eat our breakfast with. The communal cooking area was easy to use, clean and a great benefit of the tents.
The 2 lights inside the tent didn't work, but we just used our phone flashlights and were fine.

The bed is a small double and I guess we’re used to a queen now or bigger - and there was room in the tent for a bigger bed. Also mattress only ok… and a long dark hair in the bed… my friend and and I are blonde and ginger!
