"Go knowing what you need to take."

6.0

Lovely bed. Tent leakproof and well set out inside. Superb view (it was a lovely evening).

We had to wait perhaps an hour more than I was happy with for the tent to be ready (8pm rather than 7pm). The manager's phone would not connect so there was no way of knowing when he would be back. There was no cutlery, and although there was crockery and tea/coffee there was nothing to heat water with - we should have brought our camp cooking bag. We knew there was no breakfast provided., so that in itself was not an issue.

"A much needed treat in a lovely place"

9.0

Stunning location, beautiful views, peaceful environment, really comfy bed, great pillows, lovely decor, great facilities, good communication, perfect coffee and pastry in the morning at the hut, all wonderful 😊. A big comfy chair or a big beanbag to lounge in and enjoy the sunshine would have made it perfect 💜

Just a funny observation, from a seasoned camper who is not accustomed to the luxury of being able to stand upright and walk around in a fabulous bell tent, normally bring restricted to the limited space and headroom of a little two-man tent... All the furniture was really low level so I had to bend down all the time 😂.

"Lovely stay in a bell tent"

9.0

Great bell tents in a good, basic campsite with good, basic facilities. Proper bed which was comfy. Even provided little lamps. The bell tents are privately owned by someone who doesn’t own the campsite and we had our own private kitchen area with sink, hob, phone chargers etc which was a lovely touch. We were walking the coast path so didn’t carry much stuff so the addition of the coffee van in the morning was ideal! Delicious pastries too. Perfect!

"Beautiful Bigbury and Burgh Island."

Wonderful location. Loved the quirky style bell tents. Pizza van on site Friday evening.

Slight walk to toilet facilities but it’s camping!
