Bed was excellent as was shower pressure. Bar and food was above average but not amazing for the price. AC was properly cold.

Toilet flush was awful and needed a good few goes to actually stick. Asked for extra towels and got given hand towels which was pointless after a festival. Bottle of water was £3 which was pathetic considering how poor the English tap water is.

Good size bedrooms, great bathroom, we really enjoyed the food the bar, has fish & chips & fruit crumble with almonds with ice-cream. Very attentive staff will stay again.

Staff very polite and welcoming - comfortable room . Slept well in a comfy bed.

Bathroom tiling needs attention to some black mould. Also some damp in lower corners of the room by a he window. It would be good to have two chairs in the room - there is plenty of space - so that one of you doesn’t always have to sit on the bed

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had AC. Shower was good too.

Our room was a 15 min walk from anywhere. Price was hiked for Download Festival to £400 a night. Room was tired.

Location, breakfast

Uncomfortable single bed. Musty smell of room. No bottled water after first evening. Made to feel less valued as a customer due to booking hotel thro booking.com. Parking cost extra on room prices. Being a member of the hotel chain means nothing if you book thro booking.com, but luckily, we were given bar and food discount, something the reception and bar staff couldn’t comprehend. This is the second time in two years I have stayed, with the experience getting worse.
