Clean inside. Quiet. Near bus and tram lines and 15 min drive into city

Building on outside and common areas like steps needs attention. Only one wine glass available.

The location is great for a weekend away - close to the bus/tram stops for getting in to the centre of Edinburgh (or Murrayfield), and an easy stroll down Leith Walk to the great cafes, bars and restaurants of Leith. It's a classic Edinburgh flat: high ceilings and big windows, large bathroom, and up just the one flight of stairs (these apartments don't have lifts!) Lots of hot water and heating for chilly Edinburgh nights. Contrary to host instructions, street parking is free after 5.30pm until 8.30am next day, Mon-Fri, so very handy if you're visiting for the weekend.

For £200+ per night, the whole place needs some love (and a deep clean): kitchen units are missing handles, crockery/glassware is student-y, pillows are rock hard, toilet doesn't flush efficiently, and the bathroom could do with an upgrade. Managers aren't the quickest to respond to queries.

The flat was in a good location. It was easy to walk to the centre (25 minutes), or you could get a tram. The flat was spacious and very clean. The living space was comfortable. It was a good place to stay.

The check-in was a bit last minute. No one had contacted me about the deposit but we got it organised in time. There was a bit of traffic noise at night. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils. There was only one wine glass, the knives/peeler were blunt, and there were only 2 really large saucepans. Cooking a meal was a bit of a challenge.

It was a nice spacious accommodation, relatively central to Edinburgh (we got Taxis - £10 > 10/15 mins to centre but I'm sure you can get buses). Lots of nice bakeries around. It was simple to pick up the keys. Host nice and responsive.

Nothing major. Just small things - the apartment was fairly simple. Coffee machine would be ideal! Plugs on both sides of the bed. But honestly nothing wild.
