The location was amazing especially for the value! Lots of nice restaurants/coffee shops/bars around the area. The apartment was lovely area felt safe. Also it was less than a 5 min walk to the tram that took you straight into central Edinburgh.

After the 3rd shower we finally figured out how to get the hot water going so it would be handy to have some inductions on that. The WiFi did not work and wasn’t even turned on when we got there so we couldn’t use the smart tv. Also in the house rules there is obviously a note to ask you to be quiet during the night hours which we respected. However on the first night I was woken you every hour by the flat above, it sounded like they were pacing around and at one point sounded like they were moving furniture by 5am I had given up on sleep. I did at first think it could be pipes but I could definitely hear foot steps and I then heard their front door open and close about 7:30am. My friend who was staying in the other room could also hear it but not quite as loud as it was in my room.

All the cupboard items for the kitchen were really useful and a nice touch: porridge, shreddies, tea, coffee, sugar, green teas, salt & pepper. Plenty of shampoo and shower gel. Netflix on the telly. Great location just off Leith Walk, with trams into the city centre and down to the docks. Apartment was bright, warm and comfortable. Comfy sofas and beds. Origano restaurant at the end of the street did amazing pizza!

Some creaky floorboards and door hinges, made getting up without waking others tricky. No tea towel.
