Paskins Town House

I arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check in, just to drop off my bag. The hotel had agreed this but as chance would have it they parked up as I was ringing the bell and not only let me in but my room was ready so I could check in. Nice single room, loved the comp water and tea, and toiletries. Very friendly staff HIGH recommend.

I found Paskins Town House to be the most welcoming, beautifully designed, bargain of a place to stay! As a solo traveller, I was so impressed and delighted by my single room. Often single rooms are a pretty bleak afterthought - cramped and very plain. I'm stark contrast, the little room that I stayed in here was characterful, comfortable and had everything that I needed. The owners are absolutely lovely and you can see how much love and care that they have put into the place. I am planning on returning to stay for a longer break as soon as I am able.

Amazing stay, self check in available, lovely clean warm and comfortable room and the owner was so so lovely.

The staff is very accommodating. Bathroom was always available even if it is shared with other rooms.

The location is super close to the seafront and very convenient. The park permit you can have from Hotel is very value for money and cover you for 24 hrs.

The building is a bit dated but okay for the area.

The manager of this guesthouse is very friendly, helpful and kind. She helped resolve a problem with the booking dates, even though it was entirely my own fault. She found me a room and made me feel welcome. This guest house is a clean, comfortable, affordable family-run independent business. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk to the beach and many cafes and restaurants nearby. Clean towels and toiletries, tea an coffee were offered every day.

Although the guesthouse is clean, there are signs of wear and tear in the decor. This did not affect my stay but I recommend that you enjoy the property for its charm and location.

Perfect Location - I've stayed in other properties in the area before. Cafe, just up the hill Pubs and restaurant around the corner. 10 min walk to pier 15 min walk to centre of town. Comfortable beds - great service, we had a problem with the TV, and Charlotte was there quickly to sort it. Allowed early check-in after a flight change. The property has the quirkiness of other properties in the area - these older houses have their own history, and the slanted doors and walls are part of the history. Absolutely Value for money - we went for the marathon and the price was really good compared to previous years and other properties. A super value for money stay - and we will deffo be back.

Nothing for us. But no lift - if stairs are an issue, then I would request a lower floor - but all properties in kemptown are similar due to their age.

very mall but ok for one person short stay. Nosey floor and bed form above and lots of noise ie heard all the doors open and close. nice little kettle and coffee tea milk portions. Tiny bath basin just about wash hands. like bin emptying after first night

towel was very small for shower ....a bit tired decor and could be cleaner in deep clean ie skirting boards, side of bed ... iron which had cover coming off and haridryer in room- but it kept cutting out to cool down . tried to call but no answer to reception or the number given- didnt see anyone all weekend.. only get out one side of bed so it was very used one side and sloped- should turn mattress now
