The bungalows are really big (2 floors), the outside deck is really comfortable with an hammock and a mattress. Food is tasty and a lot. The atmosphere is super calm and relaxing. Gam view definitely worths.

Service should be improved, It seems as if the host doesn't care about organising activities for guests or even care about how things are going (which was distinctive in other homestays). Concerning the house reef, you need to swim a little bit to reach it and only during the high tide so we didn't have a lot chance to see it like in other places. Toilets have showers, but definitely need to be renewed and thoroughly cleaned.

Food is fantastic, delicious authentic Indonesian food with frequent fish dishes. The bungalows look directly out onto the water and there is so much to see from your veranda. Beser Bay has a beautiful combination of saltwater mangroves, seagrass field and coral reefs- I don't think many Raja Ampat homestays can offer this huge variety of things to see while snorkelling. We saw a vast range of aquatic wildlife and also lots of birds. The bay is too shallow to snorkel at midday but this is a secret boon because it encourages you to sit on the veranda and watch all the amazing wildlife.

Prices for excursions are a bit high. Especially as there is no way of getting cash. Even though we accounted for this when we took cash out from the ATM, the cost did mean we couldn't afford to do all the excursions we wanted. This is a homestay and homestays by their nature have more simple accommodation and facilities. This isn't a bad thing at all- it's how this model stays sustainable and is a small price to pay for the beauty of Raja Ampat. BUT anyone thinking of staying in Raja Ampat at all needs to be sure they will survive without A/C, internet, electricity, western toilets, etc, for the time they are there.

We loved the discretion, kindness and attention we received from the hosts. We had a wonderful stay and we thank Boy and his family for everything. The food was incredibly delicious and full of flavour. Go there with your eyes closed.

This place is an amazing gem. We loved to be around nature, you could hear the animals across on the mangrove going about their day. The reef is a bit of a swim, but is in great condition - you can also see lots of unique marine life next to the rooms, where you have a mix of coral, grass and mangrove. Baby sharks swim the area in the mornings, and you can expect some exotic bird to fly by. Room was excellent for families, and food was prepared with care. Everyone at the property was super nice.

The location is beautiful! If you want to feel remote and in paradise then this is your place. The hut over the water is gorgeous and the staff are so kind and lovely. Our son had an allergic reaction to a medication while there and they went out of their way to help us. The food is really tasty. You can sit on your deck and watch the beautiful fish and baby sharks swimming around. The bird life is wonderful too. They will also get you to any activities you want to do and pack you a yummy lunch. The beds are comfortable with mosquito nets and the homestay is very clean.

Surrounded by such interesting marine life. Food was good. Rooms were really big. Peaceful area. Activity prices were decent. Very nice coral in the area. Beds were really comfortable.

No hot water but this is known before and all the homestays in Raja Ampat seem the same.

Had a really nice stay here. Beautiful bungalows with a great view. You can see baby sharks, lots of fish and birds from the balcony. They help you with the transport to dive schools and the harbour. Food was great as well! Make sure to do the plankton / firefly tour with Pablo!
