The Carriage House

We loved the tranquil location in a tiny hamlet amid the apple orchards. Absolute quiet and starry skies on clear nights. I had bought a new torch (no street lights here) but was impressed to find one was provided!

A charming and well equipped little cottage that feels like a home from home.

We had a short, but wonderful stay in the charming Carriage House. It's such a beautiful apartment/cottage, with dedicated parking. The location is proper countryside, beautiful and peaceful. The cottage is very tastefully decorated, with a spacious bedroom and a comfortable bed. There is also a pretty and well-equipped kitchen, and a decent sized bathroom. As we tend to do driving holidays with our two dogs annually, it's wonderful to find such beautiful and dog friendly accommodation options! We'd be happy to recommend The Carriage House to friends and family.

The Carriage House was so much more spacious than we were expecting. It was very clean and comfortable. We slept very well. There were no problems with the mattress at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed during Wimbledon so the smart TVs were much appreciated.

Could have done with a couple of extra mugs and a plug in the kitchen sink, but these are minor things. Over all it was well equipped.

This was our second stay and Zac’s family were great in locating our motorbike for safe parking. It was great to see that feedback from guests had been taken on board and that there a new mattress on the bed. That made the accommodation a super 10 for 2 reasons. Zac listened and did something about a niggle a few of us had and now the bed is brilliantly comfortable.

Very comfortable, nicely decorated. In a quiet rural location, convenient for Sandwich. Well equipped kitchen. Dog friendly. Clear check-in instructions from the host. Happy to recommend.
