While the property is a modern semi detached house on a new estate in Spennymoor, not your traditional holiday let, it was presented in a good condition and its location was surprisingly quiet and suitable for Durham and many of the local tourist destinations, including Beamish and the coast. Allocated parking was a bonus with good access to the rear of the property.

The on suite shower could have been better cleaned but the rest of the house was quite clean. The neighbours dog did give us a scare when we first arrived as we were not expecting the barking from immediately behind the adjacent fence, but it was well behaved for the rest of of our stay.

Great location nice and quiet, the property had everything we needed. Really clean and spot less , and dedicated parking at the rear of the property 👍👍

Quiet location. Clean modern property. 2 bathrooms. Good location for where we wanted to be. Good maintenance service when we had a problem with bathroom lights

No curtains only blinds in bedrooms so once it came light it woke us up as too light in room.

Very practical, very clean, well equipped, comfortable.

Nothing really. We used public transport and so it is a 15-20 minute walk to the bus that people should be aware of.

Good location. Very peaceful area, well equipped house.

Only concern no fire extinguisher or fire blanket in the kitchen

Access through back gate. You need to tall to be able to open the gate. Catch difficult to open. Directions of how to get to house would be useful, numbering on estate a little odd. Parking is around back of house, which took some locating.

No access to mirror in bedroom for drying hair. No blinds for privacy in kitchen No shower over bath for 2nd bedroom. Bed standard double, not good for tall adults (6ft 7in)

The location is very quiet, although a little odd being on a housing estate. The house has all the facilities that you might need, a nice BIG TV, and a well equipped kitchen. We were also lucky with the weather so spent some time in the garden. Picking up the key was easy, although the information provided should say the parking is at the rear of the property. Tea, coffee and milk were supplied for a day or so which was great. It was very very clean.

Beds were a bit hard, sofas were a bit soft (especially the orange one), location is a bit odd for a holiday let but we got used to it. A bit more info on where the local supermarkets are (addresses or postcodes).

Location was excellent for all we needed.Ideal for Kynren a visit to Durham and not far from Beamish. Lock box was easy. Numbered bay for parking. The house was clean tidy and well presented. We will definitely be booking again.

If I had to find a negative it would be the beds were a bit low. This would not stop us booking this property again though.

It was very fresh looking. Tv was smart tv so could get lots of different channels and even sign onto bbci player. Kitchen was well equipped and nice and bright. It was all very clean. Easy to get to places from as we had a car.

Could do with some clothes hangers for towels in en suite
