Crab Hall

Great location and free parking available off street. Less than 10 mins gentle stroll to the Swing Bridge. The hotel clearly trades on the beautiful features of the main hall (Bagdale) which is lovely. If your room is in the Crab Hall building then expect comfortable, clean but less luxurious accommodation. The staff were friendly and helpful and a generous breakfast was included.

I feel the accommodation was over priced for the standard of room offered. A bath was included in the room details when booked but only a shower was available. The hotel was fully booked so a room change was not an option. The room was roastingly hot (a heated towel rail contributed to this). It was a warm weekend and fan was available but sleep was only possible with open windows and earplugs to kill the sound from the busy road directly outside. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Great location and a beautiful historic building. The breakfast is excellent and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good value.

Looked out onto car park so we upgraded to the sister hotel Bagdale hall which was very nice.

Well placed for the town centre. Extremely welcoming staff, great service, lovely venue. Was really nice stay.

Wasn't aware that the actual place to stay was not part of the main complex. Was a short walk to get breakfast in the main building. Parking was tight for large vehicles.
