Great breakfast nice room great location stayed here many times

Very clean and cosy

Breakfast was excellent. Kippers were much appreciated.

Eggs Benedict might be a good addition for a lighter breakfast

The room was on the ground floor in the annex. A nice shower room. 4 poster bed. Plenty of lighting. Central heated. Television.

All the floorboards creaked. The tele had a dodgy remote. The bed was hard.

Good location, parking, excellent breakfast, great staff

Rather shabby room, very dated, doesn’t need a four poster bed in what is the annex of a very old building. The en-suite was refurbished in the early 70’s and is well due for a renovation.

The location is great - the car park too. The staff is lovely and helpful - great vibe. The buildings are full of character and are beautiful - the huge fire place in the restaurant is amazing! The room was spacious. Breakfast was good. Dinner was OK.

The floor in the room could have been cleaner - the room and the bathroom could do with a renovation. For these reasons, it was not good value for money (nearly £200). We would stay again at a lower price.
