The Cabin

Location was fabulous. The cabin was perfect for our needs for a weekend away.

A small chair in the bedrooms for ease of dressing, we’re all in our late 70s and standing on one leg not great! Also to be really picky a couple of hooks on the bathroom door would be useful. Gaining entry was stressful, the email sent with the gate and cabin door codes didn’t arrive and we couldn’t get a telephone response for quite a while and booking.com answering service was useless. These codes should be sent automatically once payment is taken and not last minute after having to request them. Also the tv was a pain to operate..

Very simple check in details , total peace and quiet ! , lovely seating area to the rear of the property with open views to fields and countryside , lots of birds about Red Kites and other birds of prey .

Location and surroundings are lovely. Cabin and facilities were very good Nice, clean and quiet. The perfect little get away

The Cabin is very well furnished and maintained. Location is private and very peaceful with views across fields to woodland. The beds are very comfortable and living areas are well equipped. The outside space is very neat with fire pit and barbecue available. The owners clearly take pride and care in their property. We are local people and only stayed for 2 nights but I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Cabin to anyone, an absolute gem. Thank you.

A beautiful & serene setting and a kind & accommodating host !

Very simple instructions, obtained the keys very easily upon arrival. Cabin had all the facilities we required for a weekend. Log fire heated the house nicely and made the cabin have such a cosy feel. Great location, many walks easily accessible from the cabin. Marlow is a very cute town with everything you could need and only a short 5minute drive away.

Was a little chilly when we got back from our walk however got the log fire going and it soon warmed up nicely! Small suggestion would be some board games etc but honestly did not detract from our stay as we brought some games with us.

Setting and facilities were excellent. We had a superb stay.

Directions to get to cabin could be much better, no mention that it was a gated entrance and a buzzer had to be pressed. There were no logs in the cabin as advertised in the literature .

Super comfortable and clean and had everything we needed

Lovely log cabin in a peaceful rural setting. Tastefully furnished, comfortable bed and a log burner. Only there for an ovenight but a very nice place to stay.
