Sunset Lake hostel

Very nice enviroment. Very nice and attentive host. Excellent location

The owner is one of the kindest, most thoughtful hostel owners I've ever met in all my years of travel. He was constantly going out of his way to ensure that everyone had any help they could possibly want in the city. My mom and I asked for help to find a driver to take us up the park for a long hike, and not only did he find a car to drive us himself for a very reasonable price, he encouraged his amazing hostel volunteer to join us and we had a wonderful time. The location is perfect too.

It would be nice if he eventually was able to upgrade to some more solid beds in the future. These ones sway a bit when people move. It wasn't a big deal, and I was very comfortable sleeping.

Very friendly staff and good vibes

This hostel and its owner, Gyoko, were honestly one of the best things that happened to me during my time in the Balkans. To be completely honest, my trip in the region hadn’t been easy. I had an unpleasant experience with local men and ended up leaving six days earlier than planned. So when I arrived at the hostel, I was already upset, disappointed, and mentally ready to go home. Gyoko completely turned that around for me. He welcomed me with coffee and chocolate cookies, and treated me with such genuine kindness and care exactly when I needed it most. He was incredibly supportive, and the next day he even drove me to the airport himself. The hostel has a warm and friendly atmosphere with everything you need, but what truly makes it special is the way guests are treated. Thank you so much, Gyoko, for everything and for your heartfelt hospitality. This is where I finally experienced what real hospitality means.

The manager is nice. Bathroom is clean and tidy. Price performance ratio is high

Only cash payment. Booked a 4 female room but was assigned to mixed room at the beginning. Then changed to a 6 female room while there were only 4 lockers.

Excellent location, very social hostel, super friendly and warm owner who went out of way to ensure that I went around smoothly! Would highly recommend!!
