Omaruru Game Lodge

Prachtige plek. Zeker waard om te stoppen onderweg naar Walvisbaai of Etosha!! Heerlijke rustige plek, mooi zwembad en uitzicht op de wilde dieren. Personeel was echt fantastisch en alles was mega schoon en goed geregeld.

Tolles Wasserloch direkt vor dem Restaurant mit Fütterung der Breitmaul-Nashörner. Einzigartig!!! Game-Drive war sehr schön mit vielen Tieren!

All good....the buffet style from earlier was nicer but I also understand if occupancy limits this application.

Dinners were fine but not great.....hmmm...some was really really good...the Cheese cake...probably the best we have ever had and the chicken rolled in spinach and cheese was equally as yummy. On the counter side ..pooitjie was watery and not flavorsome, pooitjies tend to have a distinctive flavor profile and this was sadly lacking. Other Beef dishes were not great...tough pieces.

Große Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, Bestes Essen und Trinken mit großer Auswahl und nette Begleitmusik zum Abend. Nashörner ( Erwachsene und Jungtiere wagen sich an die Wasserstelle und haben Vertrauen auf wenige Meter Entfernung heranzukommen ). Elefanten schubbern sich am Safariwagen..... Giraffen und sonstigen verbleiben in der Nähe... einfach klasse.

Schöne Lodge unter schattigen Palmen

The highlight of our stay was the evening feeding that drew white rhinos within a meter of us! The facilities were great with charming cottages and a nice big pool. The staff were very accommodating, helping to rebook a game drive we missed on account of late arrival, free of charge. The game drive itself was great fun with close encounters with several elephants and rhinos, and views of giraffes, springbok, zebra, kudu, eland, wildebeest, and hippos. Food was excellent and included some of the aforementioned animals.

Only staying one night :(

If you are a lover of nature and animals this is definitely the Lodge for you.
