Sanda Eliya Resort

Das Resort war die erste Station auf unserer Rundreise. Ideal zum „Ankommen“. Das Resort ist sehr gepflegt und in eine wunderschöne Vegetation eingebettet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der tolle, richtig große Pool. Gastgeber Nuwan spricht auch deutsch und ist rundum sehr um seine Gäste besorgt. Seinen TukTuk Service haben wir auch gerne in Anspruch genommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und lecker und mehr als seinen Preis wert. Der nahe Strand ist superschön und man hat ihn fast für sich alleine…. Im Beachrestaurant (Wave) kann man kostenlos Sonnenliegen benutzen, wenn man ein Getränk bestellt. Also: rundum zu empfehlen!

Es gibt keine Geschäfte und nur wenige Restaurants in der Nähe. Aber es gibt ja genügend Tuk Tuks.

Sauber, ruhig gelegen, Gastgeber extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und spricht gutes deutsch, der Garten ist voll mit Früchten und Pflanzen, die uns der Gastgeber gezeigt hat, man kann quasi von der Terrasse aus in den Pool springen, das Frühstück ist sehr üppig und vielfältig (gegen einen kleinen Preis), der Strand ist fußläufig in 2 Min. erreichbar, der hauseigene TukTuk-Fahrer ist sehr nett

Отличное расположение отеля. Супер хороший и дружелюбный хозяин, который порекомендовал отличные экскурсии и рестораны и мало того, так ещё и сам в них отвезёт и заберёт. А так приготовит потрясающие завтраки с трационными блюдами и наисвежайшими тропическими фруктами. Отель находится в тихом месте, подальше от шумного города. Через дорогу - океан . Почти безлюдный красивейший пляж . Волны большие, но приемлемые для плавания . Рекомендуем для посещения!

Beautiful setting, gorgeous green garden surrounding the pool, very private, quick walk to the beach. Super friendly and helpful host and delicious breakfast (you won’t need lunch afterwards)

We were visiting for a wedding and it was a little hard to get a tuktuk back from bentota late at night as it’s a little out of the town but that was also part of the charm of the place to be be in a private spot away from all the large resorts. Toilet flush didn’t work very well.

it was my second stay at Sanda Eliya Resort, got the same bungalow😊. Breakfast was amazing with all different kind of fruit, eggs, toast, coffee,…. the bungalow was spotless clean , the bed big and comfortable, the bathroom has a separating glass between shower and the rest! Coffee, tea, kettle are provided in the room, there is also a little fridge. and not to forget the big outdoor pool! it is only ~200m to the most beautifull beach! I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere very much !!! Nuwan is the best host ever - thanks for everything and all the chats we had! see you next time

Modern bungalows in a calm and beautiful garden. You can spot a variety of birds and other animals in the garden. The owner is very helpful and overall a really nice person. He helped us book tables at restaurants, fixed taxis or drove us himself when we needed. The breakfast is great. You will not need to eat lunch.

We loved our stay at Sanda Eliya! The cabin we had was very spacious, clean and luxurious. We loved it so much we decided to stay a few days longer. Owner Nuwan was super kind and helpful, always in for a chat and helped us book tours, taxis etc. He made us feel at home immediately. The garden is very green with lots of animals that can be spotted throughout the day - we saw birds, lizards and even a tortoise! Also the large swimmingpool with sunbeds was amazing during the hot summer days. We loved the location of the accomodation, it is across the road from the beach and just outside of the busy city of Bentota. 10/10 would recommend.
