Clean, tidy, in great condition throughout. Great bed, great facilities in the room. Bathroom was good and shower was good. We loved Sammon the Tuk Tuk driver who was so obliging, informative and friendly. The owner seems very committed to upgrading the hotel to an even higher standard and is heading in the right direction.

Entrance Road and signage could be improved.

I stayed 4 nights at the Villa Girava with a nice pool and garden view. It looked new, was spacious and clean, the bed very big and comfortable, the shower good.. The pool was also very big and the water nice. Nuwan is a very nice and friendly host, always available for help and questions. Breakfast was served with a lot of delicious exotic fruits, eggs, sausages, toast and other sweet and savory local delicacies. A friend was also around to take me/ other guests anywhere (dinner in town, shops, pharmacy,..) with his TukTuk, even to Galle with a few interesting stops ( turtles, moonstone mine)( extra charge). I loved the area - a little out of town. The most beautiful beach was just 200m cross the road. The beachclub provides free sunbeds when you purchase a snack or drink…the ocean was just perfect! The train was absolutely no problem for a good night sleep! I definitely come back!

A/C was little loud, but the extra Fan was good enough. Construction site next door was going on one hole day till 10 pm. Nuwan managed them to stop. I had to pay a little extra for a beach towel

Loved the room and loved the pool. Overall vibe was very nice, very relaxed and very friendly! Easy check in was really helpful and appreciated.

Neighbouring bungalow air conditioner was quiet loud and a little bit annoying.

Really nice quiet place with excellent view of the nature, close to a good beach and nice restaurant and drive to the city, excellent large pool, excellent clean spacious hut, small attention to details like remote controlled fan and AC and sockets next to bed, in the Nature but no crawlies in the room, clean large beach towels, excellent changing breakfast, personalized attention

We have spend here 14 days. It’s really perfect place if you are looking for calmness and quiet place. Very friendly owner or manager, great pool and traditional breakfast. Every morning the asian palm civet walking on the property.

WiFi, but this is location problem. Because location of the property are far away few kilometres from the city.

The Host Nuwan went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful with suggestions of things to see and do in the area. Suban the tuk tuk driver and helper at the hotel took us on an excellent tour of the area and was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Breakfast here was amazing and well worth the price. I would highly recommend staying here.

Not within walking distance of the main town.

This place is run by a lovely guy who couldn't be more helpful. The room was spotless and large with a very comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast!

Frosted glass in the bathroom would be a nice aid to privacy. The development of the site is ongoing and we had an issue with yellow coloured water. Seemed expensive for what was currently on offer.

Our stay was perfect in this place - from the 1st minute we met the host till the minute we left. We even prolonged our stay. The place is beautiful - design, swimming pool, nature. You really can feel the surrounding nature, but at the same time very safe. The special thing is awesome breakfast served. Many thanks to the host - Nuwan, who really cares about his guests. He spent a lot of time with us, telling interesting things about his country, helping with some shopping & transport. We even made our own spice to take home with us and went to night crabs hunting on the beach !!!
