Location, easy to find. nice airy sunny home

If I had to stay a long time the bed would need to be a bit firmer, but short time its fine.

Roomy and comfortable very central to everything close to beach and not too far to shops.

The owner, who lives next door, made us and our whanau feel as unwelcome as possible.

The property is comfortable. Dated but large and functional.

The owner lives next door and complained about visitors coming around. She’d be outside watching us as we came up the drive. We didn’t know there was a washing line so we did our washing at a laundromat one evening and hung the washing around the lounge with small things on the blinds. I got a phone call complaining about that. She said the cleaner had said the place was messy when she’d been in, but there was nothing but the house furniture in the lounge and used towels in bathroom. I rented this place for nearly a week and the owner put a real damper on a special time catching up with friends and family. There was a lot of coming and going. I made sure music was kept at a non disturbing level. I looked after the place and no damage was done. Instead of being helpful and friendly to a paying guest, the owner made us feel very unwelcome.

Our host was happy to meet a special request that we made.
