Nahas Beach Resort

The place is very quiet and private. Nicely decorated and maintained. 100m of bermuda grass yards with birds and lizard cages. The villa is very clean. The host provided a big cooler filled with ice and then provided a full thermos of coffee in the morning. That was very cool. Oh plus fresh coconut. Much appreciated. All the staff are very welcoming. Made my stay very relaxing.

The waze pin is wrong. Was led to a very narrow dirt road. Apparently, the road was remapped. The pin should be re edited. Based on the infosheet, pets are welcome. Turns out pets are not allowed in the room I booked with sea view. That was a bummer. The beach is a public beach with nothing to see other than black sand and waves. I checked it out and decided not to swim. Not very appealing.

We liked how fast the booking was, no issues in booking. I was just canceled by another resort because I wouldn't process the payment outside the Booking.com and so I had to find another resort to stay. At first we couldn't find the resort because waze, using the address provided in booking.com, brought us 2 km away in a residential area. I called the phone on the website and it was immediately picked up. I was given helpful direction. Arrived at 2pm with a nice sea breeze on the property. We loved the room-with-a-view assigned to us. It's directly east where the sun rises. The owner's brother was there and he helped us check in as well, and also provided us with the wifi password. All throughout our stay, he was attentive and always so hospitable. He also helped us with the whirlpool and shared rice to us during dinner. After I booked, I sent Nahas a message and they were prompt to reply. We asked if we could bbq in the resort and they said we could and they will even provide charcoal. We loved that, although when we read the rain forecast, we decided not to go on with it. But we did purchase cooked food from a resto and brought back to the common kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's even a karaoke. Breakfast was brought to the balcony. Several trips from the kitchen by the staff to bring us our breakfast and we appreciate the effort and care shown to us. The security guard was very knowledgeable. He checked us in and also out. He assisted us up to the room. He assisted us during dinner in the kitchen and during breakfast in the balcony. The sea and the pool were great. It's a small resort but the pool is big enough. We took a swim even when it was raining late afternoon on the first day then again the following morning. The resort is spotless clean, even the floors in the room and poolside. You can walk barefoot and not feel any dirt/dust or anything sticky.

I liked everything. Reasonably priced for San Juan, Batangas.

clean rooms, clean and nice pool, comes with Filipino breakfast. we checked in late, and owner was kind to allow us to check out late.

Not so relaxing as brother of owner keeps policing us, family went to balcony and he asked them to close the door of the room, pet goes near the kitchen (not inside) he said “bawal, bawal!” and then he saw us with lounging with our door open, asked us to close the door. Pet was with us beside the jacuzzi, told us it’s off limits to pets. So annoying every time we see him! One bamboo fence also fell near us when we were in the pool. We have to ask for toiletries, and they provided the pack with very small soap! Kettle in our room was dirty, previous guest used it to cook noodles as there were residue. I’m glad we only stayed for a night, nakakahiya sa family namin who’s visiting from USA.

We love the free flowing coffee, the iguanas, the pool, the karaoke and the sea breeze.. The staff are very helpful. The place is clean and well-maintained.

The use of waze or google maps to find the place is not reliable.

I liked the interiors and exteriors, I liked the cleanliness of the property, the pool was clean, the jacuzzi was functional, the terrace had sufficient space and a welcoming token of large box of ice cubes for drinks. I liked the mess hall with large tables for dining in and having the ability to borrow kitchen utensils for fruit snacks. The staff were very pleasing. You will enjoy your stay. Good for family vacation.

There’s one thing I recommend putting a lot of attention and immediate action to would be the blinds. In the evening we noticed that the light inside the room makes everything inside visible from the outside which compromises your clients privacy. I happen to check if this occurs to the other units as well and it does. Please consider changing them immediately.
